Every 1st Saturday of the month, The Duck and Rice will be hosting a two hour Pilsner Urquell Masterclass, inviting guests to come and discover the secrets behind Pilsner Urquell, the best beer in the world.
Taught by specialist ‘Tapsters’, you will learn three different Czech pouring styles and then put your newly learned skills to the test by pouring (and tasting of course) your own pint of Pilsner Urquell.
During the masterclass you will learn how these traditional Czech techniques of pouring can alter the taste of the beer in noticeably different ways.
With your freshly poured pint in hand, you can then enjoy a Cantonese pub lunch at The Duck and Rice restaurant.
First created in 1842 and brewed in Pilsen, Czech Republic, Pilsner Urquell is the world’s first pale lager.
For over 175 years the recipe and traditional brewing methods have remained unaltered and therefor Pilsner Urquell to this day has maintained its original and unique taste.
We proudly serves brewery fresh pilsner, unpasteurised and without added gas.
It’s one of only 4 places in London and the only place in Soho where you can try this beer.
Open to one and all, the Masterclass is perfect for groups of all types and sizes looking for an interactive and fun event located in the centre of London.
Whether it be a birthday celebration, a team bonding experience for the office crew, a weekend activity with the guys or girls, everyone is most welcome!
Located on Soho’s most iconic market street, The Duck and Rice looks forward to teaching you the secrets of the pour, leaving you with a smooth taste and a new found life skill!
Attendees must be 18 or over.
